Composite Fillings (white fillings)
A composite filling is a tooth-colored plastic and glass mixture used to restore decayed teeth. Composites are also used for cosmetic improvements of the smile by changing the color of the teeth or reshaping disfigured teeth.
A veneer is a thin layer of restorative material placed over a tooth surface, either to improve the aesthetics of a tooth, or to protect a damaged tooth surface. A beautiful smile reflects inner vitality. In fact it is the only aspect under our control which can impart a star like appearance to almost anybody. Of all the elective cosmetic procedures, cosmetic dentistry delivers the most dramatic and lasting enhancement of facial beauty.
Partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain.
Dental bridges literally bridge the gap created by one or more missing teeth. A bridge is made up of two crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap — these two anchoring teeth are called abutment teeth — and a false tooth/teeth in between. These false teeth are called pontics and can be made from gold, alloys, porcelain, or a combination of these materials. Dental bridges are supported by natural teeth or implants.
A dental implant is an artificial tooth root that is placed into your jaw to hold a replacement tooth or bridge. Dental implants may be an option for people who have lost a tooth or teeth due to periodontal disease, an injury, or some other reason.
You’ll be able to eat and speak — things that people often take for granted until their natural teeth are lost. And if you’ve had trouble with your natural teeth for a number of years, you might not have been able to eat the foods you want or speak comfortably for quite a while.
Do you need to straighten your teeth but do not want the uncomfortable and unsightly metal braces typically associated with teeth straightening? We have the solution, Invisalign. As a courtesy we offer a free consultation for Invisalign.
A dental crown is a tooth-shaped “cap” that is placed over a tooth — to cover the tooth to restore its shape and size, strength, and improve its appearance. The crowns, when cemented into place, fully encase the entire visible portion of a tooth that lies at and above the gum line.
Good dental or oral care is important to maintaining healthy teeth, gums and tongue. Oral problems, including bad breath, dry mouth, canker or cold sores, TMD, tooth decay, or thrush are all treatable with proper dignosis and care.
